Molly's Route 66 camera

Does anyone have the replacement code for this item? I am only interested in the camera from this set. I love to take pictures. And want to add it to my collection. Thank you for any help you can give!!!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Me too! I love photography! So does my niece and my sons. In fact, yesterday I put together an AG order that included Molly's camera just for the camera. It never occured to me to just buy the camera and not the whole set.

I'm going to let Kit use the camera. She loves photography and so do I so I think she should have a camera collection. [img]wink.gif[/img] If Kailey's camera had not looked so much like a plastic toy, I would have bought it for Kit too.

American Girl MUST come out with a set that includes a little digital camera and scrapbooking set. I'd buy it in a heartbeat the very day it came out! Me and a million other scrapbooking enthusiasts. Scrapbooking is so big that I'll bet a scrapbooking set is in the works at AG. It better be!

-Note to the Design Team- most of the items in the set are paper, inexpensive and easy to mass produce so the profit margin for this item will be high. There is no reason AG should not make a set like this. [img]wink.gif[/img]

That is such a great idea, Julia! It reminds me of that adorable Christmas set I wish I had gotten...the one with the tiny rolls of wrapping paper, tiny scissors and tape, to wrap tiny presents (it was sold on the same page as the old Christmas tree...the one with the cute ornaments, not the newer one with the more "elegant" ornaments). Oh, I just love that set...wish I had been collecting back then. That was before I realized that my kids didn't really need to be "the target age" before I actually started buying stuff...lol! Julia-when I was at the outlet today I was telling the sales clerks about your idea for the scrapbooking set for AGOT, and Dianasmama's for a medical set. They thought this sounded like a great idea, and that you should email it to AG. They said that they really do listen to suggestions from consumers.(unless it relates to putting Felicity back in the catalogs anyway [img]frown.gif[/img] )

This set could have a reinker to add ink to the pad when it dries out.

I also love photography! That's why my doll Jane Hart is a photographer (a little bit of me)! I have both Kit's and Molly's cameras! SO adorable!

If you call up AG cusotmer service or send an email asking about a replacement they will let you know!

Let's see how long it takes AG to make their Scrapbooking/Photography kit. After the recent MAJOR disappointment in the Butterfly Party Accessories, with the cheapie cardboard cake, I'm not putting a lot of stock in an AG Scrapbooking Set. [img]confused.gif[/img] I think a good price for it would be $18, comparable to the price for the school supply sets. If they sell paper-based sets for more than that, I'll have to start some serious letter-writing.

I got Molly's set with her camera. Molly's camera isn't as detailed as Kit's but I love the little pictures you can see in it and the tiny photos. The donkey bank is totally adorable!

If a scrapbooking set were to ever happen, I vote that they partner with Creative Memories! The CM vision and Pleasant's vision of preserving history for future generations go hand in hand. And I think it would be really really really really cool if AG would partner with CM like Disney has with the Princess set and Disney World vacation line and produce a people sized scrapbooking set that includes our Girls.

And for the stamping stuff, they could go to Stampin' Up.
